Exploratory Ag is an introductory course designed to provide 8th graders with a broad overview of agriculture and the National FFA Organization.  It is specifically designed to provide students with a look into the agriculture/FFA program of Calamus-Wheatland.  The course will revolve around the FFA organization, providing a brief overview of SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) programs, describing the importance of agriculture in everyday life, and studying the basis of general agricultural topics.  The general agricultural topics that will be reviewed include such topics as animal sciences, horticulture, natural resources, agronomy, agricultural sales, and others.
