Ag Construction

 (for grades 10-12)

Ag Construction is a course designed to learn about safety in the shop, and woodworking. Students should be prepared to work each day. Students will complete at least one personal project, which will include a bill of materials, a design, and completion steps. Depending on the size and/or skill level involved, there may be more than one personal project required. Additionally, students may work together in small groups to construct a class project to be sold at the conclusion of the semester. Projects will be completed simultaneously during the course. If time exists beyond the general requirements, students will have the opportunity to bring in extra projects to work on.  All supplies and materials for personal projects that the students are able to keep must be purchased by the student.  The student, parent(s), and instructor may meet during the semester starting to finalize personal projects for the class.
